SC - period celery use

I've always used the celery leaves in soups as did my mother and grandmother
and my grandmother said that her mother and grandmother did as well.....I
can't find any documentation in any of the stuff I have here but it might
possibly be that it was something all good cooks did that was just never
written down....  :D  some of my best recipies are not written down....as
they were taught me it goes something like this: a handful of this and a
pinch of that and this is how you measure the other  :D
