As a small point in terminology, I am familiar with a 'camp oven' as a
type of 'sheepherders stove' with an oven box.   A sheepherders stove is
legged rectangular metal firebox about three feet long and and 16 to 18
inches square using a standard stovepipe for venting.  The legs support
it about 3 feet in the air.  The oven model is slightly larger to
accomodate baking tins.
