Puck, Please check something out before you do this. Make sure the CO2
you get this way is Only CO2. CO2 is not CO2 if it has oils mixed in.
While the oils would probably not affect welding it might affect what
you have in mind. I remember when I was doing SCUBA diving special
compressors were used to avoid getting oil in the air, which could 
happen if a normal air compressor was used. Apparently having oil in 
the air you breathed could be quite hazardous.

Since you are not breathing this CO2 perhaps the danger is not there,
but please check for such dangers before switching to unorthodox
supplies of something you are ingesting.
