- --------------------------------
All for fun, and fun for all! Following up on the prodigious efforts of
archers on the challenging and warlike courses at WR VI, the Shire of Abhainn
Ciach Ghlas would like to present a more light-hearted view of archery at this
year's event. All archers, fighters, and revelers are invited to join us this
year for our traditional weekend full of FUN! As long as you consider fun to
be: four (count 'em, four) roving archery ranges, Royal rounds, two fighting
tournaments, three deliscicous meals, thrown weapons tournaments, wonderful
cabins with hot showers, and opportunity for horseback riding (for a fee),
bardic circles, and acres of beautiful countryside to roam about in (if you
can find the time!) All this, and maybe more, will be held once again at the
beautiful Crystal Lake Campground in Hughesville, PA. (No street address).

guest range by Master Bleddian ab Cynin and his talented household, a second
guest range by Lady Aleea Bagah and Lord Wilhelm Von Stromberg and a fourth
range by our own Genevieve Beachamp (formerly Gwynne). Aleea and Wilhelm's
range is based on the movie "Momty Python and the Holy Grail", so you may want
to watch the movie again to guess how the range will be scored. We will have
ample space for royal rounds to be shot throughout the day on Saturday, along
with the novelty shoots (the Viking ship target returns to the lake), and
possibly some archery-related classes Thrown weapons instruction and
tournament will be supervised by Lord Kaji Katana, Deputy Marshal for Thrown
