The Better Homes and Gardens New Cook Book has a recipe for Glazed Nuts in
their section on candy, if that's any help.

I have a recipe around somewhere for sugar nuts (I have no idea if it's period
or not, but the results are tasty) which I will try to find and post to the
list.
