Dry sites usually mean that CONSUMPTION of alcohol is not permitted although
for some shires it may mean no evidence of alcohol is allowed (hint. :-)).
Cooking with alcohol based products is a whole other matter. At Will's the
"official" policy was "dry" but the site owners had no problem with a 5 liter
container of wine in the kitchen. For that matter they had no problem with the
2 cs. of ale in the walkin. They asked about it and I told them it was for the
kitchen. Subject was dropped. :-) If a particular dish uses alcohol and you
are unreasonably worried about a sites policies show them the recipe and
inquire.
