SC - period wines

Thanks, Ras.  I think I didn't keep all your comments on wines--too much
stuff on this wonderful list!  Now, I need to know about sherry.  I think
it's late period, but don't know if it could be had in 14-15 C. England. 
Recipe just calls for 'wine', so I can use what might have been
available, my choice.
