Well, for those who had a bit of trouble accessing the page (like myself)
here's what it says:

I seem to recall this is an Apicius recipe that we've seen fairly recently on
this list, I believe from AM Rousseau, except she uses ordinary mint instead
of pennyroyal in her adaptation.

If you're of a mind to consider Roman recipes (or Roman anything) period, then
yes, it is period. "Period" as defined in SCA corpora documents has no early
cut-off date.

And, it's yummy, too!
