SC - Even more OT - Re: Potato Soup-OT-OOP

Great suggestions, 
I grew up in Berlin, and there it is seasoned with LOTS of Marjoram, and 
served with sausage slices (or whole sausage) in the soup.  Any kind will 
do, Wiener (read hot dog without bun), bratwurst, kilbasa (sp?).  I pre 
cook my  sausage and slice into bite sized rounds (and fry the rounds a bit 
more - to fry out some of the fat inherent in sausages.)  Fresh bread 
accompanies.

For the "pizza-Kid" maybe try thin sliced pepperoni?

Thanks for the roasted garlic and for the blue cheese suggestions - that 
will be on my table next time we do tatter-zoup.
