Actually, IIRC, the Durkee company publishes this recipe in advertisements in most women's magazines around holiday time (or used to; it's been a long time since I picked up a women's magazine).  Thus causing it to instantly become a "holiday staple" across the country.

Nasty-tasting stuff, anyhow.  <--Just my opinion.

So can we be done with this thread?
