SC - ot/oop: funny story, Thai recipes

Just wanted to share something amusing...

A friend was over last night visiting, and keeping me company while I made (coincidentally enough) chicken and dumplings for dinner.  

I was ribbing him unmercifully, as is my wont; and at one point I must have crossed the line.  He stood there for a minute, speechless, and his eyes lit on my oven mitt.  He picked up the mitt, lightly smacked me across the cheeks with it, and cast it at my feet.

When we both could stop laughing long enough to pick ourselves off the floor, I told him I accepted.  He chose the weapons (Thai food, a 4-dish course each) and I'm choosing the location and time.  We haven't chosen our seconds yet, but...  

Just wanted to share with you; I'm **still** laughing about this.  Oh, and if anyone has some good Thai recipes, email me privately...  <G>
