I know this is beginning to sound like "Ansteorran cooks horror stories" but
I am reminded of a funny event. It was even funny at the time. I did a
Coronation feast for around 350 at a small armory. This was in the shire where
everybody did everything. So we were there Friday night until around midnight,
all day in the kitchen, cleaned until midnight, then went home and I cooked
dinner for everyone because nobody had eaten that day! We weren't too tired
to appreciate the irony. And we went and finished cleaning the next day. We
were all tired but we were quite proud of what we accomplished.

The funny thing is that we didn't, and still don't, consider it any big deal.
It's just what we DO. And we do appreciate all the help we get.

I didn't even get the foot massage, who'd would want to rub stinky old knights
feets?

Yours,

Gunthar
