Fellow Cooks! I need your help! This afternoon I discovered a
long-forgotten piece of ginger root in the midst of my spring cleaning. It
had not only sprouted, but had also begun forcing its way out of a thin
plastic bag. Obviously it has the will to live if I can just supply a
suitable habitat for it. Does it want potting soil? Sand? Another plastic
bag? Does it want sun or shade? Water or a dry climate? And most
importantly, will it make more ginger?
