SC - Feast Steward vs. Cook

I don't ever expect to be cooking a large feast. Although I will be providing
a lunch for our Crown next Candlemas and I never thought I would try that.

I mostly like to try some small medieval dishes here and there and right now
feel overwhelmed with the idea of cooking directly from period recipes and 
prefer having a redaction to work from. Although I've come to desire having
the original recipe (or translation if in a foreign language (like Yankee?))
to referance.

On the otherhand, I am still interested in many, many different subjects and
am always on the lookout for good messages/articles for the Florilegium
even if I'm convinced I will never do anything in that subject.
