Confort food for me? The Latinamerican version of Blancmangé. Also
called "dulce de leche", as the new taste of Hägen Dazz. Take 2 liter of
whole milk, put it in a saucepan with 500 grams of sugar, brown or
white. Stir groundly, and when the milk and the sugar are boiling, lower
the fire until very low. Put on some drops av vanilla essens or a stick
of vanilla and some cloves. Stir almost all the time.
When the mixture is thick, add a tea spoon of bicarbonate.
After two or three hours, you got a brown thick cream, wonderful to eat
alone or to spread in sandwiches or to fill cakes or crepes with.
Warning: highly addictive!!
