It's the same way for clothing. there are people so bound to commercial
paper patterns, that when I explain that I draft everything, they think
I've com from Mars. Same concept, really- you take the basic 'ingredients'
and adjust for individual variations. I think of patterns and recipes as
starting points, not as an end in themselves. But then you probably
already knew that...
