While I am certainly not His Majesty, perhaps I can provide some help here.

I have been getting the digest form of this list since within the first
week or two it existed. The method I use to read this list is to save the
digest email as a file. Then I open it with Word, change it to courier
font, 10 pitch and set the margins. This is more so I can copy messages
directly to my Florilegium files than a necessary step. As I read the
digest I delete the messages I read. This does mean when people reply
by quoting entire messages, especially two or three repeated ones, it
can be a pain. It also means I usually read the entire digest.

Anyway, to reply to a message, I copy that one message (please do NOT reply
to the digest and thus quote the entire digest) and paste it into a new
message form in my mailer, add my comments and mail it to the list.
