Cairistiona,

I typed the Forme of Cury 'Englished' version this afternoon, so was
thinking about it.  Cariadoc also has a redaction of it in his webbed
Miscelleny.  How on earth did yours turn out to be powder?  This really
ought to be a fudge consistency candy, I think, or something like a soft
taffy, as it would be stickier than fudge.  Maybe because you left out
the honey?  Did you replace the volume or percentage of liquid that the
honey would have provided?  The glossary notes of Curye on Inglish
confirm your theory of a third part for the pine nuts.
