If you recall, there was a blancmanger dish advertised, and also another
dish of rice with chicken. I had got the impression they were using a
rather late-period concept for blancmanger, possibly one with ground
almonds used as a thickener instead of rice, more of a chicken-almond
"mousse" rather than a chicken-rice pudding cooked in almond milk. Under
the circumstances confusion was pretty much inevitable, I think.
