Moose recipe, the most loved meat in Scandinavia before the accident in
Tjernobyl.
It depends if you have steak or small cuts.
If you have small cuts, put them in a pan with butter and fry some
minutes. Add some cream, a small spoon of arrowrot, black pepper and
salt. You can have chantarelles in the same pan too.
Eat with lingonberries and mashed potatoes. A delicacy!
If you have a steak: treat it as you treat lamb, but remember, its a
dryer meat, requires more time and more juices to not become dry.
Make a marinade with honey, mustard, beer and spices. No any garlic. Let
the meat be on the marinade for some hours and take it later to the over
or to the barbecue.
But always remember: moose must eats with berries, lingon or black...
