SC - question about african food

ok Philip,
     I will work on that in the next few days.  I am doing a birthday party this
weekend for.... me!  (38 years old!  And new bride and new house and very busy!)
I am thinking of grilling rosemary chicken and smoking a brisket.   But I will
regale you with my family favs next week. WARNING: Most is simple peasant fare.
LOTS of rice and everything including chili <GASP> is served over white, steamed
rice.
