I have this book. It is wonderful. :-) But remember how different modern 
cooking  now is from modern cooking in the 1940s when using this book to 
figure out the cooking of Mrs. Beaton's time which IIRC is 51 yrs before The 
Boston Cooking School Book and considerably different.
