How do you know retrieve it after it has gone bad?
EGGS
When something starts pecking its way out of the shell, buy some growing
mash and build a coup.
DAIRY PRODUCTS
Cheddar cheese is spoiled when you think it is blue cheese, so cut
off the mold and it's good as new.
BREAD
Fuzzy and hairy looking white or green growth areas are a good
indication that your bread has turned into a pharmaceutical
laboratory experiment, cut off the green and white fuzzy parts and make
hors d'oeuvres with the remaining pieces.
FLOUR
Flour is spoiled when it wiggles, so just sift out the wigglers..
RAISINS
Raisins should not be harder than your teeth and can be softened by
putting 2 slices of fresh bread in the jar for a couple of days or simply
soak them in liquid for a few hours and proceed with the recipe..
