SC - Names (OT)

Try the name of the town I once lived in.  Pomaria, S.C......pronounced "po
MAY ree".........Or its neighbor Kinards......pronounced "KIE ners".......If
you are from N.Y., Albany is pronounced "AWL ba knee.......If you are from
Georgia, Albany is "all BEN knee"

How about a really simple name like Mary?  Is it "MAY ree" or is it "Merry"?

Of course, everyone knows Georgia has four syllables, no need to even discuss
it.
