Having spent 5+ hours emptying out and cleaning and sorting every
cupboard yesterday in my kitchen - almonds go off too : ( - just as badly as
walnuts and within 6 months if poorly stored ....it's amazing what you find
in the deepest darkest corners of a kitchen........ They don't seem to
suffer heat so well either - those in the top cupboards were in worse
condition than those in the low down long term storage cupboards.......live
on rationalisation and all like ingredients in the same place : ( I just
wish I had a bigger kitchen)
