Would Gnocchi be considered a pasta? Lady Phlip made the best tasting gnocchi
I have ever eaten based on the one appearing in The Medieval Kitchen for a
feast of mine within recent memory. Her rendition of this dish was served
with succulent roasted rabbits which a friend of hers raised for the feast
and she transported here to central PA and was kind enough to help slaughter.
The combination was exquisite! :-)

Ah, the memories. :-)
