Altho' I gave the Americanized spelling, the proper
German spelling is Ku"mmelweck, which are Caraway Seed
Rolls.  While anyone can make rolls with caraway
seeds, it seems that the German bakeries in Buffalo
have a special recipe for Kimmelweck that I have yet
to find approximated anywhere else [that I have ever
been to].
No, I don't have a recipe.  I wish I did, because my
mother was born in Buffalo and has frequent cravings
for Kimmelweck.  I would love to make her some,
because 
at 83, it is unlikely that she will able to back there
again.
