Yes, Meliora, they were invented in a bar in Buffalo,
New York.  Apparently, the bar owner was known for
having munchies available and all he had were chicken
wings, blue cheese dressing, and hot sauce [IIRC] and,
voila, Buffalo Wings were invented.
