SC - OT - freezing things

Well, I am not positive but I don't believe it shrinks after the first
firing, the bisque firing.  Then you could determine where the necessary
marks need to go and glaze them on as stripes or something and then fire it
again.

Doesn't clay shrink as it dries and shrink even more when fired with the
percentage varing by the type of clay used?
