Well, then you would prove yourself wrong.  Just
because Lady Elynor started her book in 1604 doesn't
mean that this recipe was part of it.  It probably was
one of the recipes "in other hands probably from the
late 17th or early 18th centuries..."  Can you prove
otherwise?
