His houp was truely spiffy, and Lainie's fit like a glove (even if she does
need a little "meat" on her bones :->)

When we went to dinner at 6pm Saturday (dumped the last of court, we had
reservations, and I wasn't going to try and fight my way through starving
courtiers to find a table) the service was superb, as was the food. The
chef did a wonderful job, and actually had a full serving of everything for
each diner. You may think this sounds like an obvious thing, but I've had
experience with going to a place, having the dinner advertised, then making
arrangements to bring 200 of my closest friends for the same meal, and
getting a tiny dab instead of a plateful!

We stayed at the Shiloh, and they were also _very_ pleased with us. Manager
said we were Quiet (!!!) and polite. She was also impressed because every
room that was reserved was actually taken. We evidently filled up four
hotels in the area including the DoubleTree and Shiloh.

I must admit the "check your weapons" table outside the bar was one of my
favorite browsing places. I love sharp, pointy objects, and that Japanese
lacquered bow probably had to be specially worked on after all the humidity
from the drooling of my archer youngster!

Regina who thinks that the Autocrat, Barony of Adiantum, and Principality of
the Steppes did an awe inspiring job!
