Not in this thread so far. We did however have a fairly long discussion
within the past year on this manuscript and it's daughter manuscripts. I
found it an interesting discussion on just what kinds of written info
got passed around Europe and how they changed in their travels. I have
captured a fair amount of the discussion in this file in the FOOD-BOOKS
section of my Florilegium:
Harpstrang-cb-msg (34K) 10/19/99    The Harpestraeng cookbook. The
oldest 
                                       cookbook in the Western world.

I believe various redactions and re-interpretations of the Icelandic
Chicken recipe can also be found in the chicken-msg file in the FOOD
section.
