Jana,

I do hope that you don't think I was advocating spitting out food or other
such rudeness. If I was sitting with a mouthful of food that I found truly
awful, I would somehow choke it down or quietly slip out to the restroom
to dispose of it. And then disceetly set aside the rest of the portion.
Spitting in public is plain rude, now as in period.

However, while educating the palate is a wonderful task to take up, I must
comment that the cilantro/soap connection is (or so I am told by the
scientific types) a biochemical matter, not one of taste. Just to be
clear. ;-)
