I would like to applaud this shire for their feast. They obviously know the 
difference between pre-Columbian and Post-Columbian foodstuffs in Europe and 
were up front in telling everyone exactly what the feast was all about from 
the beginning. The honesty of the kitchen steward is very impressive compared 
to the kitchen steward that composed the cutsey Renfair menu at the other 
feast we saw listed by Poppa G.

What would be interesting is to know if they made any attempt at serving 
these foods in the same manner as they would have been served in the colonies 
at the time.
