Only that the fact that a recipe is undocumentable in early modern (e. g late 
SCA period) is irrelevant compared to the bulk of SCA history that is 
covered, And 2nd the fact that it is undocumentable in England is of NO 
importance at all and 3rd, no there is no pre-1450 CE recipe which remotely 
resembles the original posters recipe regarding cucumbers.
