Ooooh. Ouch! That's been my problem and my solution for most of my life.
I've gotten lots of comments through my life, especially in school. Not
generally kind. However, given the chance to move the paper close, I
can often read small text that normally sighted folks can't.

The problem with some of the text in Master Cariadoc's books is that not
only is it small, but the fact that it has then been copied, perhaps
through several generations, using photocopying technology rather than
say offset press, often leaving the characters fuzzy,
indistinct or missing portions. However, this is meant more as a
description than as criticism. I can understand the reason for
shrinking the pages and text down since it allows the books to be
produced at a very reasonable price.
