According to Symantec, this is indeed an Attached file that uses Microsoft Outlook 
to propagate.  If you are not using MS Outlook, or MS Office, I think you are 
probably not in too much danger of spreading the virus.
I believe tha active ingredient is a VBScript file, so if you are one of the lucky
ones to have a MAC and or a Linux or Unix box, you are not in too much trouble.
Fot the rest of us, ( including me ) Turn off any letter preview, which does 
automatically open attachments, and scan the mailboxfor that "love letter 
for you" text regularly, and delete the mail immediately if it shows. 
If you have a kill file functionality (Inbox Assistant or something like it) generate 
a "rule" to delete any file with "love letter" in the subject line.
There is no Antivirus solution, yet. They are working on it as we speak.
