Bakersfield to Irvine is a 3 1/2 to 4 hour drive one
way, Bal, depending on where you are in Bakersfield.  

Now, Irvine is 1 1/2 hours from my house, but the 18th
is a Friday.  I could make the 19th, but not during
the week, alas.  If you need help on that Saturday,
let me know.
