Since I am doing this for modern eyes, I thought I would ask your
opinions. Also, since we want to use this as a resource, I need to
know what would be better.
For instance the first 1/3 page of the boke looks thusly:
Thou shalt be butteler and panter all the first yere / and ye must
have the pantry knyves/ one knyfe to square trencherous loves/ an
other to be a chyppere/ the thyrde to shapre to make smothe
trenchours/ than chyppe your soueranynes brede hote and all other
brede let it be a day olde
the / are obviously ends of sentences. Would you prefer it to look
as above or would you prefer to see it with modern notations. This
gentle who is writing these instructions has many many run-on
sentences. (Actually I think this was just a matter of how things
were done.)
Give me your opinions. BTW, I am going to be putting up 2 pages.
One will be the keruynge in an old english font and the other in a
plain bookman font. the OE looks cool as it mimics the actual book,
but gosh it makes for difficult reading when you aren't used to it!
LOL!
ALSO!!! I need backgrounds, line breaks and pictures. If you know
of any please LMK!
Thanks!
