This is a wonderful book for anyone wishing to prepare Middle Eastern food.  
The recipes are well written, and very tasty.  In addition, there is a wealth 
of knowledge regarding Middle Eastern dining habits and the like.  I am not 
Middle Eastern, so I can't vouch for the authenticity, but the author paints 
a picture of a very civilized and comfortable society.
