Hey, that means I grew up eating period veal! (We butchered our steers at
14-18 months and called it beef. It sure tasted like beef to me. How do
you tell the difference between veal and beef? I can tell the difference
between 18 month old mutton and lamb, though... but then it jus may be
that my mother had not so good mutton recipes as the ones people in the
SCA use for lamb.)
