Nothing un-American about that. It is called shopping for quality. A very 
American concept that some manufacturers have ignored for a long time. I buy 
all of my tools in and out of the Kitchen from German sources whenever 
possible. Their quality is unsurpassed by any American manufacturer. When 
American manufacturers equal both quality and price, I will buy American. ;-)
