I agree and I feel it's stupid in some cases. Particularly if they feel they
are being "manly" because of the conditioning of a dumb book of the 70's.
A quiche is nothing more than an omelette in a pie shell. An I've seen
lots of "manly men" eat omelettes. Also, the pork pie was not meant as
a food to transport to Pennsic and feed the fighters. It was simply an
example of a period food that could be served to fighters and enjoyed.
Even by those who think they hate period food.
