SC - "Cookie" Cutters

I believe it was John Murrell (in the 1617 or 1621 cook book) that said
one could cut sugar paste with a "tin instrument" if one was not skilled
at making the item by hand.  That sure sounds like a "cookie" cutter,
although it would have been used for sugar paste.
