Yes, they have. it is remarkably (or not) similar to the Lancaster Amish 
recipe books which in turn are , naturally the basis of Pennsylvania Dutch 
cookery which in turn is really derived from German cookery. The Mennonite 
cookbook that i own is aptly titled 'The Mennonite Cookbook.' :-)
