Hi,
here's a big batch.  I'm open to suggestions.  This is
turning into my Queen's prize entry this year.  I'll be
making a few of the recipes.

31.  Lavatorio para las manos
Una naranja asada en el rescoldo y serenada en una escudilla
de vino blanco. Lavarse de noche las manos con ella, cuando
se vayan acostar, y a la mañana, con talvina cocida de higos
negros, y plumas de gallina negra y canina de perro blanca.

Wash for the hands
An orange roasted in embers, and let to rest in a bowl of
white wine.  Wash yourself at night the hands with it (wash
your hands with it at night), when you go to bed, and in the
morning, with porridge cooked of black figs, and feathers of
a black hen, and canine tooth of a white dog.

32.  Receta para hacer solimán
Para una onza de solimán tomad dos ochavas de azogue.  Y
lavad el azogue con una migaja de pan hasta que se ponga el
pan blanco, y luego moled el solimán.  Y desque esté molido,
echad con él el azogue.  Y traedlo a una mano siempre hasta
que se embeba el azogue en el solimán.  Y luego amasadle con
leche de mujer, que sea de hijo, y cubridlo muy bien con
ropa y dejadle que se linde como masa.  Y después de lindo,
tornadle a traer a una mano hasta tanto que se ponga de
color que no sea blanco ni negro.  Y tornadlo a amasar con
la misma leche, y tornadlo a cubrir, y dejadle estar hasta
otro día.  Y luego otro día, tornadle a traer hasta que esté
blanco.  Y como esté blanco, le echaréis agua llovediza
dentro en el mortero, y se la mudaréis nueve veces.  Y como
la hayáis mudado, dejadle secar en el mortero.  Y después de
seco atadlo en un paño de lino, que sea nuevo,  doblado.  Y
tomad una gallina, que sea negra, y sacadle el papo y los
menudos.  Y meted el paño dentro de la gallina, y poned la
gallina en una olla, y una docena de canillas de manos de
carnero quebrados con ella. Y henchid la olla de agua, y
ponedla a cocer, y sea el agua llovediza.  Y cueza hasta que
se deshaga toda la gallina.  Y luego sacad vuestro paño, y
puesto sobre un plato, haced peloticas del solimán.  Y si
quisiéredes hacer albayalde lo haréis también de la manera.

33.  Remedio para el neguijón
Tomad jengibre, y nuez moscada, y clavos, y corazón de pino,
y agallas, y lantisco, y salvia, y romero, y piedra alumbre:
de todas estas cosas partes iguales.  Y a cantidad de un
azumbre de vino blanco, que sea muy fino, echaréis cantidad
de media onza de cada cosa.  Y cueza en una olla de barro
hasta que mengüe de cuatro partes las tres.  Y como sea
cocido, echadlo en una escudilla y pasadlo, por una mecha de
lienzo, en otra.  Y como sea colado, el que tuviere neguijón
enjuáguese la boca con esta cocción nueve mañanas arreo y se
lo matará todo.

Remedy for cavities
Take ginger, and nutmeg, and cloves, and heart of pine, and
gall-nuts, and ___, and sage, and rosemary, and stone alum;
of all these things equal parts.  And a quantity of an
azumbre (two litres) of white wine, that is very fine, throw
it quantity of half an ounce of each thing.  And cook in an
earthenware pot until is reduces the four parts the (to)
three (until it reduces by one quarter).  And when it is
cooked, put in a bowl and pass it, for one wick of linen, in
another (i. E. let is strain slowly).  And when it is
strained, the one who has cavities rinses the mouth with
this concoction nine mornings and it will kill it all.

34.  Polvos para limpiar los dientes
Romero quemado muerto en vino blanco y seco al aire,
almástiga, encienso, sangre de drago, coral rojo, canela: de
todas estas cosas partes iguales, tanto de una como de otra,
molidas, y pasadas por cedazo y juntas.  Limpiarse los
dientes con ellas y enjuagarse la boca con vino blanco
tibio.

Powders to clean the teeth
Burnt rosemary killed in white wine and dried in the air,
mastic, frankincense, dragon's blood, red coral, cinnamon: 
of all these things equal parts, as much of one as the
other, mashed, and passed through a sieve and joined.  Clean
your teeth with them and rinse your mouth with tepid white
wine.

35.  Remedio para la sordedad
Tomaréis la orina en una escudilla de barro que no sea
vidriada.  Y batidla mucho con una cuchara por espacio de
una hora.  Y después de batida, haced unas mechas de estopa
o algodón tan grandes que tapen el oído, y no más largas de
cuanto lleguen a lo vacío.  Mojaréis una de aquestas mechas
en aquella orina y ponedla en el oído donde estuviere la
sordedad.  Y tenedla por espaçio de un credo, y sacadla, y
tornadla a mojar, y tornadla a poner.  Y poned encima un
cabezalejo como de sangría, y tocaos la cabeza con un paño
de manera que tapéis el oído; y echaos sobre el uno salgáis
al aire.  Y haced esto cuatro o cinco veces al día, entre
día y noche, y hazedlo treinta días.  Y la orina la tomaréis
de tres a tres días.  Y si oliere muy mal, la tomaréis de
dos a dos días.

Remedy for deafness
Take the urine in a bowl of earth that is not glass.  And
beat it much with a spoon for the space of an hour.  And
after beating it, make some pieces of   
Burlap or cotton big enough to top/cover the ear, and no
more large than when it came to be empty.  Wet one of these
pieces in that urine and put it in the ear where it the
deafness.  And have it for the space of a moment, and take
it out, and turn it to wet, and turn it to put.  And put it
over a ___ like of sangrì, and   the head with a cloth of
the manner that you top the ear; and put it over a ___ in
the air.  And make this four or five times a day, between
day and night, and make it thirty days.  And the urint you
take of three to three days.  And if    very bad, take it
two to two days.

36.  Jabón para las manos
Tomad una libra de jabón valenciano rallado y atadla en un
paño grueso. Y ponedlo en una caldera de agua hirviendo, y
cueza allí hasta tanto que se pare azul.  Y desque cocido,
tomad una escudilla de ello, y otra de miel, y otra de hiel
de vaca, y media de zumo de lirio, y una escudilla de
vinagre. Y ponedlo todo junto en una olla a cocer, y cueza
hasta tanto que esté espeso,   trayéndolo siempre a una
mano.  Y si quisiéredes hacerlo peloticas lo dejaréis cocer
hasta que se pare duro.

Soap for the hands
Take a pound of shaved valencian soap in a thick cloth.  And
put it in a cauldron of boiling water, and cook it until all
of it matches blue.  And after cooking, take a bowl of it,
and another of honey, and another of cow ile, and half of
lily/iris juice, and a bowl of vinegar.  And put it all
together in a pot to cook, and cook until all of it becomes
thick, working it always to a hand (pestle).  And if you
want to make little balls leave it to cook until itmatches
hard.

37.  Polvos para los ojos
Una onza de atutía preparada, y molida y cernida; una drama
de hienda de lagarto, azúcar piedra una onza, así molida y
cernida, mezclarlo todo en un almirez mucho.  Hanse de echar
estos polvos en los ojos dos veces al día: la una en ayunas
dos horas antes de comer y la otra a la tarde dos oras antes
de cenar.  Aclara la vista.

Powders for the eyes
An ounce of zinc-oxide prepared, and pounded and sifted, one
dram of oil of lizard, stone sugar one ounce, this pounded
and sifted, mix all in a mortar a lot.  You have to put
these powders in the eyes two times a day; the one in two
fasting hours before eating and the other in the last two
hours before bedding.  It will clear the vision.

38.  Mudas para rostro y manos
Media libra de higos negros, un cuarterón de pasas buenas,
sacados los granicos, y un poco de alegría: todo muy
majado.  Un poco de miel cruda y una yema de huevo fresco:
todo majado muy bien, y amasado y hecho una pella.  Cuando
lo quisieren poner, desatarlo con agua de rostro; y cuando
lo quisieren poner en el rostro, si no quisieren que se
parezca mucho, envolverlo en una toquilla cuando lo
quisieren desatar.

Lotion for the face and hands
Half a pound of black figs, a quart (I cannot find a
reference for "cuarteròn") of good raisins, taking the
little seeds, and a little of alegria; all very mashed.  A
little of crude honey and a fresh egg yolk; all mashed very
well and kneaded and made a ball.  When it want to make it,
thin it with face water; and when you want to put it on the
face, if you do not want that it ____ much, return it in a
shawl when you want to loosen it.

39.  Jabón para la cabeza
Tres cuarterones de jabón rallado, dos hieles de vaca, una
escudilla de miel, otra escudilla de lejía, dos maravedís de
cominos rústicos, dos de azafrán romí, dos de oropimente,
dos de jengibre de dorar, dos de alarguez: todas estas cosas
molidas, y juntas con el jabón y lejía en un barrenón, y muy
batido todo junto.  Y puesto a donde le dé el sol y el
sereno dejarlo estar hasta que se pare tieso, teniendo
cuidado de batirlo cada día.  Y desque esté tieso, mojada la
mano en lejía, hacerlo torticas y tornarlas al sol, y
dejarlas hasta que se paren tiesas.  Y como estén tiesas
guardarlas y lavarse con ellas.

Soap for the head
Three little quarters (?) of grazed soap, two biles of cow,
one bowl of honey, another bowl of lye, two maravedis of
rustic cumin, two of safran, two of orpiment, two of ginger
of gold, two of ___: all these things pounded, and together
with soap and lye in a tub, and very beaten all together. 
And put where the sun gives and the shade leave it to be
until it is matched soft, wetting the hand (pestle) in lye,
make it little caked and take them to sun, and leave them
until they match soft.  And when it is soft save it and
clean yourself with it.

40.  Agua para el rostro
Para azumbre y medio de agua, dos onzas de pepitas de
calabaza majadas mucho, echándoles agua al majar.  Echarlas
en un paño y sacar aquella leche, y echarla en una redoma. Y
tornar a majar las pepitas, y tornarles a echar agua, y
sacar la leche.  Hacer esto tantas veces hasta que el agua
salga blanca.  Poner en el agua tanto solimán piedra como un
garbanzo, y un poco de alcanfor, y otro poco desta miel -que
aquí abajo está- y una blanca de cardenillo.  Y mecerla
mucho y curarla nueve días al sol y al sereno.

Water for the Face
For an azumbre and a half (three litres) of water, two
ounces of pumpkin seeds mashed a lot, throw water to pound. 
Toss in a pan and take the milk and throw in a flask.  And
take to pound the seeds, and take them to to cast water, and
take out the milk.  Make this as many times auntil the water
comes white.  Put in it enough soliman water as a garbanzo
(bean), and a little camphor, and another little honey -
that here under is - and a white of purple iris.  And stir
it a lot and cure it nine days in the sun and in the shade.

41.  La receta para hacer la miel
Tomad una escudilla de miel cruda y poned con ella una clara
de huevo. Y batidla mucho, y echadle un poco de solimán
cocido y un poco de bórax. Y tornadlo a batir mucho, y
ponedlo a curar nueve días al sereno a donde no le dé el
sol.

The recipe to make honey
Take a bowl of crude honey and put with it an egg white. 
And beat it much, and throw a little of cooked soliman  and
a little of borax.  And take it to beat a lot, and put it to
cure nine days to rest where the sun will not give.
