We use a cheese-ham-and-ginger-farce from the
Menagier de Paris that was supposed to go with a
whole roast piglet witrh pork roast, but our Shire
(Two Seas, Kingdom of Drachenwald) is not really
old enough to claim that as a 'tradition'.
