I agree, and you'll note that in both cases, we made sure that our "substitutes"
were fully aware of everything we knew about the feast we had planned.  No,
there is absolutely NO excuse for what this fellow did.  And I echo all of the
others who say that you pulled off a miracle...I know because I've been in a
similar situation with that feast in Black Diamond years ago.
