I've gotten the round ones at farmer's markets, and sometimes other small
ones at vegetable markets, especially with Asian owners. (They're not the
same as Japanese eggplants, but I've seen them substituted. ) Occasionally
in a supermarket. They're the only eggplants I can stand, myself.
