[Sca-cooks] I can't make EK 12th Night

Hello everyone,

I know you haven't heard much from me lately and I apologize.
It's been a bit hectic the past few weeks.
I had hoped to be able to attend EK's 12th Night and even
had a reservation for the plane tickets. But with finances
being pretty tight right now and having to go to a driver's
education class because of my accident on that same weekend
I'm afraid I have to miss it. It really sucks but reality
often intrudes. My apologies to Puck and the cute l'il
Red Haired Girl and my thanks for the offer of a place to
hang my hat. It sounds like it will be truly grand. I really
hate to miss it.

On a better note, did everyone have a nice Christmas?
This was my first Christmas with my lady as a couple and it was
wonderful. For a Christmas feast I made a nice oyster stew,
rotisserie roasted chicken and sautee'd greens. My gifts
included the latest Everquest expansion (it is a truly understanding
girlfriend who will give a video game to the S.O.), a new
dutch oven, a period carving knife (woot!) and "socks and
underwear" (period linen hose and braies). The knife and trews
I had been lusting over at Pennsic and decided I didn't have
the money for. I also got a nice DVD player but that is kind
of for the both of us.

It was a nice, quiet Christmas and wonderful.
